COVID-19 RULES & PROTOCOLS To Be Determined as we approach the regular season (Below are our Rules from last season)
Reservations must be made, via Skedda on the member only reservation page, before coming to the club.
At this time, all court reservations are limited to 1.5 hours per family per day, unless space is available.
All reservations require two member names.
Drop-in play and guest play will not be accommodated at this time.
All match play will consist of singles, family member doubles and mixed doubles (family members from one family against family members from another family).
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Take all belongings and trash with you.
Players can only touch their own labeled tennis balls (unless balls are from the same family).
If a ball from another court comes onto your court, return the ball by pushing it to the other court with your racquet rather than handling the ball.
Use your racquet/foot to pick up balls and hit them to your opponent. Players should avoid changing ends when playing.
LESSON PROTOCOLS
The teaching professional will make sure the court is reserved for your lesson.
All lessons will currently be limited to private or semi-private family instruction.
Summer Programs such as junior ladders, cardio clinics, team practices and group clinics will be added as permitted by the Commonwealth.
Members will always stay on the other side of the net from the teaching professional.
Teaching professional will have their own cart of balls that only he/she is allowed to use.
Members will not touch tennis balls during lessons.
Members will be asked to kick or hit balls into the net and the teaching professional will put the balls into the teaching cart.
Serving will not be permitted during lessons.
We would love to see all members at the courts, but it is important to remember that we must keep our members and staff safe from the spread of COVID-19. Do not play if: 1. You are exhibiting any symptoms of the coronavirus. These symptoms include mild to severe respiratory illness with fever, cough and difficulty breathing, or any other symptoms identified by the CDC. 2. You have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days. 3. You fall into the vulnerable category. A vulnerable individual is an individual with serious underlying health conditions, including high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma and those whose immune system is compromised such as by chemotherapy and other conditions requiring such therapy.
Do I need to make a reservation in order to play? Yes, reservations are mandatory. Please make your reservations through Skedda, on the member only reservation page.
