Here We Go!
March 20, 2011: Preparations for a busy and successful 2011 Tennis Season are underway. We expect two courts to be available for play by the end of April and all four ready to go for Memorial Day Weekend. I look forward to meeting many of the you during that weekend.
Also, I want to thank you all for replying to our earlier request to update your contact information. It has been a great success!
I hope you have had a chance to visit the updated Mashantum website: www.mashantumtennis.com for all the information on the adult and junior tennis programs. The application forms are available via the site for memberships and the junior ladder clinics. Please take a moment to check out the site, download the forms, and get registered. If you register by June 1st the rates are the same as last season and you will have helped us with our planning. Also, please note that some changes have occurred in the timing and design of the junior ladder clinics, so be sure you are registering for the correct level.
Should any of you need new equipment or new strings for the season, we will now have a fully stocked pro shop at the club. Please stop by during the season and check out the full line of adult and junior racquets, try out a demo, grab a can of balls, or purchase some needed accessories -- all at great prices.
This year we have added Adult Open Play time each morning from 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM. Also, along with the existing Cardio and Adult Clinics, we are now offering a New Player Program for adults trying tennis out for the first time. Please refer to our website for more information.
If you are a member last season, we hope to see you back again. If your child was in a clinic and you were not a member, please consider joining as a family. We want to see you all out there on the courts together. It is truly the best way to see your child's skills (and possibly your skills) develop quickly. Memberships are currently available.
